The Fall of the Inca Empire
While an empire was dying after a civil war between two heirs, Francisco Pizarro arrived at the right time in Peruvian territory in 1532, determined to seize the riches of those lands in the name of the Crown of Castile. After the capture and assassination of the emperor, a legacy began that, despite its cultural and human costs, generated urban advancement. Taking the first step toward achieving the nation we know today.
